From underground services to streetscape: a roadway connection between Eastern Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard East.
THE PROJECT Roads & infrastructure
The roadway connection at 629 Eastern brought together the infrastructure beneath the street and the elements that define it above ground. Valentine Underground self-performed sanitary servicing, stormwater management, watermain installation and grading for the connection between Eastern Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard East. Our role also extended to general contracting for laneway-closure permitting, curbs, sidewalks, light standards, site furnishings and streetscape works. The scope spanned both civil construction and the coordination of the roadway’s surface features.
